Quinoa Porridge w/Caramelised Banana - Orgran

  • 1 serving ORGRAN Quinoa Porridge
  • 1 banana, whole
  • 1 teaspoon butter (or margarine, for vegan alternative)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • sprinkle of cinnamon
  • cacao nibs
  • shredded coconut
  • berries (optional)
  • drizzle of honey (optional)


  • Prepare quinoa porridge as per packet instructions. Set aside.
  • Peel and slice banana length-ways in half. In a pan, over medium heat, melt butter and then add maple syrup and cinnamon. When it starts to bubble immediately add banana and allow to caramelise before turning over.
  • Add to porridge and drizzle maple syrup from pan over the banana.
  • Top porridge with cacao nibs, coconut, berries and honey. Serve hot.
