Garlic Prawn Pasta - Orgran

  • 1 package ORGRAN Corn & Vegetable Pasta Shells
  • 1 kilogram green prawns
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup thickened cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shaved
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh flat leaf parsley, coarsely chopped


  • 1/2 cup shaved parmesan
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley


  • Cook pasta according to the directions on the packet. Cook until just tender. Strain and discard water.
  • Remove shells, heads and veins from prawns.
  • Peel and crush garlic.
  • Pour olive oil into frying pan. Add garlic to pan and sauté (lightly fry).
  • Add prawns and cook until just cooked taking care not to overcook. Remove prawns from pan.
  • Add wine, cream, Parmesan cheese, basil and parsley to pan. Cook until ingredients are just combined.
  • Add pasta and prawns to frying pan. Cook over a gentle heat until well combined.
  • Serve with extra Parmesan and finely chopped parsley.
