Ingredients

Cake Ingredients:

  • ORGRAN Self Raising Flour
  • milk (or soy milk, for vegan alternative)
  • butter (or margarine, for vegan alternative)
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 2 eggs (or ORGRAN No Egg™ Egg Replacer, for vegan alternative)
  • 4 tablespoons ORGRAN Instant Custard Mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Passionfruit Icing Ingredients:

  • 2 passionfruits
  • 2 1/4 cups pure icing sugar
  • butter (or margarine, for vegan alternative)
  • 1 teaspoon milk (or soy milk, for vegan alternative)

Method

Cake Method:

  • Preheat oven to 180°C fan forced.
  • Add all ingredients to a deep bowl and using a hand held mixer, whisk for 3 mins.
  • Pour into cake loaf tin lined with baking paper and place in oven for 30-35 mins.
  • Allow to completely cool.

Passionfruit Icing Method:

  • Add all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
  • Place into fridge for 10 minutes.
  • Pour icing over cake. Allow to set before serving.
