Chilli Beef - Orgran

Ingredients

  • Chilli Beef
  • 2 tablespoons ORGRAN Gravy Mix
  • beef strips
  • 2 tablespoons chilli infused oil
  • bacon pieces
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh chilli
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
  • Chilli Sauce
  • Philadelphia™ cooking cream
  • fetta
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 teaspoon chilli
  • More chilli can be added to this recipe if you like very hot food.
  • To serve
  • packet ORGRAN Pasta Spirals of choice
  • bag baby spinach leaves
  • finely grated parmesan, for serving

Method

  • Chilli Beef
  • 1. Put the gravy mix into a large zip seal bag. Add beef strips and shake well to coat beef strips with gravy mix.
  • 2. Pour oil into a large frying pan. Heat oil over a gentle heat. Add bacon and beef strips. Cook over a gently heat for 3 minutes, stirring continuously. Do not over cook meat, or meat may be tough.
  • 3. Stir chilli and garlic into pan. Turn off heat to pan while preparing Chilli Sauce.
  • 4. Cook ORGRAN pasta according to the instructions on the packet.
  • 5. Arrange baby spinach, cooked pasta and meat in a serving dish.
  • 6. Pour some Chilli Sauce over meat.
  • 7. Top with finely grated Parmesan.
  • Chilli Sauce
  • 1. Put all the ingredients in the bowl of an electric blender. Blend until smooth.
  • 2. Pour sauce into a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on medium-high for 1 minute and stir.
  • 3. Microwave on medium-high for a further 1 minute. Continue to microwave on medium-high for 30-second intervals and stir, until sauce is heated through.
