Banana Oatmeal Bread - Orgran

Ingredients

  • dairy-free margarine
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ORGRAN No Egg™ Egg Replacer as per packet instructions
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ORGRAN All Purpose Plain Flour
  • 1 cup ORGRAN Quinoa Porridge (plain)
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 bananas (300-365g)
  • 1/2 cup chopped raisins/sultanas (optional)

Method

  • Preheat oven to 320°F. Grease a 9" x 5" loaf pan and set aside.
  • Cream together margarine and sugar. Add No Egg™ mixture and vanilla; beat until fluffy
  • Sift together the flour, oatmeal, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Add dry ingredients alternately with bananas. Mix until blended
  • Fold in raisins/sultanas and pour into prepared pan. Bake for 48 mins; remove from oven and cover with foil and continue baking for another 2 minutes.
