Fancy butter biscuits
Ingredients
⅓ cup & 1tbs. warm water (100ml)
1¾ cups maize corn flour (250g)
½ cup rice flour (85g)
½ cup Orgran GFG (75g)
1⅓ cups raw sugar (305g)
250g melted margarine
1 tsp. vanilla essence
½ tsp. salt
Method
Preheat oven to 170ºC (340°F)
Lightly grease oven tray(s).
- Combine margarine and sugar in a large bowl.
- Beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add remaining of dry ingredients and mix well.
- Add warm water and vanilla essence and mix until smooth.
- Put mixture into a piping bag fitted with 1.3cm star tube.
- Pipe biscuits on oven tray in decorative shapes (e.g. stars, fingers, etc).
- Bake for approx. 15-20 min or until biscuits are light brown.
- Allow to cool on a wire rack.

Gluten free Biscuits recipe
Presentation: Arrange biscuits on a plate and sprinkle with icing sugar. You could also decorate the plate with berries, or fruits of your choice.
