Born from humble beginnings, ORGRAN’s range of proudly Australian-made products have long been the pioneer of the health food industry.

Armed with strong ethical values and a commitment towards continuous improvement, the ORGRAN brand has long taken the progressive approach towards environmentally sustainable practices.

Roma Food Products CEO, Owen Nelson, says, ‘we are committed to protecting the environment with programs that include recycling and waste reduction, responsible sourcing of raw materials and the installation of rain water collection tanks’.

Today, ‘we have made a significant investment into the use of solar energy at our manufacturing facility, which will assist in reducing our dependence on non-renewable electricity sources over time’.

The recent installation of 694 solar panels commenced in December 2017 and yields a total of 276,000 kWh per year.

Now powering a substantial portion of Roma Food Products’ head office and production facility, any excess power is directly transferred back into the grid, allowing the company to share its clean energy with both commercial and residential properties within the area.

From 1984 up until today, accelerated expansion into over 70 international markets has seen ORGRAN’s comprehensive range of products resonate with customers around the world as the trusted name in health and wellbeing.

Roma Food Products is proud to have made the move towards minimising carbon emissions, reducing overall energy consumption and actively participating in the global fight against climate change.
